Opalesque Exclusive: Finisterre Capital doubles AUM to $600m, adds two traders Over the last year, Finisterre Capital, the London based Emerging Markets debt specialist has delivered solid returns in all three of its strategies, doubled its AUM to around $600MM and grown the staff to 20 professionals.

The most recent addition to the investment team is Devin Lo. Mr. Lo, who joined at the turn of the year, is responsible for trading local market debt in coordination with Tim Whyman. Devin comes to the team with extensive experience trading Emerging Market local and sovereign debt in addition to currencies and options. Devin spent 8 years in the Morgan Stanley Fixed Income Emerging Market Trading Department.

Chief Investment Officer Paul Crean said, “We feel very fortunate to have attracted this high quality talent to the team. We expect Devin to help us continue to deliver high-quality, risk-adjusted returns.”

The two year old Finisterre Global Opportunity Fund has grown to $300MM, giving it the critical mass to attract new institutional investors.
