Water investing special: Credit Agricole AM launches water fund, Investors warm to water as shortages mount

Opalesque Exclusive: Credit Agricole AM launches water fund To reinforce its commitment to Socially Responsible Investing (SRI), Crédit Agricole Asset Management (CAAM) has launched an innovative “water” thematic fund, CAAM Funds Aqua Global. This SRI international equity fund aims to achieve long term capital growth by investing in selected companies worldwide that generate at least 25% of their turnover through activities related to water. Combining financial and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria to select stocks, CAAM Funds Aqua Global offers investors the opportunity to participate in the growth of the best quality companies involved in the value creation chain of water. This sub-fund is one of CAAM’s international flagship SICAV (open-ended) CAAM Funds, domiciled in Luxembourg and UCITS III compliant.

Managed by IDEAM, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Asset Management Group that specialises in SRI, CAAM Funds Aqua Global employs an innovative and systematic stock selection process established in conjunction with Inspire Invest, an international advisory firm working in extra financial analysis.
