Opalesque Exclusive: Citi Alternative Investment sales head joins Graham Capital Richard Johnson, the former head of institutional sales at Citi Alternative Investments, has left the firm and joined Graham Capital Management as Managing Director and Global Head of Sales and Marketing. Rowatyn, Connecticut based Graham Capital runs $5bln assets with about 180 employees. The firm offers a wide range of discretionary and quantitative alternative investment styles, including macro, relative value, equity long-short, and arbitrage strategies trading in global fixed income, equity, foreign currency, and futures markets. Mercer Sentinel Group expands global manager ops/implementation due-diligence business Mercer's Sentinel(r) Group continues to expand its investment manager operations and implementation due-diligence business globally with the hiring of Julian Mant, former CFO of MKM Longboat Capital Advisors.

The Sentinel Group is a global consulting unit within Mercer's investment consulting business that specializes in investment operations, implementation and governance.

Mr. Mant, a principal, will be responsible for continuing to build Mercer Sentinel's investment manager operations and implementation due-diligence capabilities globally. He has more than 30 years of finance and operations experience on the sell and buy sides, including 15 years at BNP Paribas. He will be based in London, England.
