Two Rothschild funds best performing Swiss FoFs in 2007 (up 28.07% and 24.76%), HSBC on ranks 3 and 4

In a list of the top 20 Swiss funds of hedge funds denominated in USD and with a maturity date of at least 36 months, two Rothschild funds lead the pack. See here for the top five FoFs:

LCF Rothschild Prifund Alpha Emerging Markets USD Cl.: 28.07% LCF Rothschild Prifund Alpha Traders USD Cl.: 24.76% HSBC Emerging AdvantEdge Fund: 20.24% HSBC Asian AdvantEdge Fund: 19.92% LCF Rothschild Prifund Alpha Uncorrelated USD Cl.: 19.88%

The top 20 list (see link below) has been compiled by the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, School of Management, supported by the Swiss Transparency Council Funds of Hedge Funds (TCF). The aim of the Transparency Council Funds of Hedge Funds (TCF) is to improve the Swiss fund of hedge funds market and to establish consistent performance and product information standards. To support its efforts, the Transparency Council has been running a comprehensive FoHF database for four years which can be accessed via the web portal www.hedgegate.com.

The Transparency Council comprises twelve well-known investment firms. These are: AIG Private Bank, BrunnerInvest AG, Clariden Leu AG, E.I.M. S.A., GAM Anlagefonds AG, GL Funds AG, Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie, Harcourt Investment Consulting, Privatbankiers Reichmuth & Co, RMF Investment Management, Union Bancaire Privée, 3A SA.
