Opalesque Exclusive: Diamond Age Russia fund with new manager Svetlana Le Gall has been appointed the Manager of Diamond Age Russia Fund. Svetlana is one of the few investment professionals with a significant experience in managing a diversity of assets both internationally and in Russia. Diamond Age will significantly enhance its investment process and capabilities by benefiting from expertise and skills Svetlana and the expanded team will provide.

John Winsell Davies, the Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager of Diamond Age Russia Fund, has decided to pursue other opportunities outside our company. He will remain with Diamond Age until the end of the year to ensure a smooth handover.

The investment strategy of the Diamond Age Russia Fund remains unchanged. The Fund invests both long and short in companies anywhere in the world, which benefit from economic expansion in Russia and the Former Soviet Union countries.

Ex-hedge fund manager Schlarbaum joins Global Capital From TradersMagazine: Mark Schlarbaum, who recently ran his own hedge fund, joined Global Capital Management as director of equity trading. Prior to joining the $1.1 billion Conshohocken, Pa.-based equities manager, Schlarbaum was a senior equity trader at T. Rowe Price earlier in his career.
