Two Firms form Princeton Alternative Investment to offer investors integrated absolute return solutions

Princeton Advisory Group, Inc. announced today that it has formed a strategic alliance with NewMarket Capital Partners, LLC, an alternative investment management firm, to offer investors integrated absolute return strategies. Under the agreement, Princeton Advisory Group has acquired a minority interest in NewMarket Capital, and NewMarket Capital will remain an independent firm led by its current management team. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“We are excited about this strategic alliance and how, in combination, we can develop new integrated investment solutions for investors. This is a natural progression of our business and accelerates our strategic plan,” said Munish Sood, President of Princeton Advisory Group. “We believe it is an attractive opportunity for both firms. NewMarket Capital’s distinguishing strengths are both additive and synergistic to Princeton Advisory Group, and we look forward to growing this strategic alliance.”

Outside advisors to the companies include the law firms of Pepper Hamilton LLP and Drinker Biddle & Reath, LLP.
