Salus Alpha launches Salus Alpha Equity Hedged fund A novel fund will be launched at the beginning of September, the Salus Alpha Equity Hedged. With its low volatility, its market neutrality and with expected returns of 10 – 12% p.a it will breathe new life into the world of fund investments.

The UCITS III compliant Salus Alpha Equity Hedged is innovative because the fund combines, as the first fund world wide, the investment techniques of Long/Short Equity funds with the investor security of regulated funds. Therefore it enables even private investors to benefit from the advantages of actively managed Long/Short Equity funds.

The Salus Alpha Equity Hedged invests in the LSX – Long/Short Equity Index listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange. The LSX Index combines up to 30 highly qualified Long/Short Equity fund managers worldwide.This large group of experts ensures a correct market assessment and guarantees an optimized risk-reward ratio for the portfolios. Even small market fluctuations are taken advantage of. Positive returns can be achieved in decreasing as well as in increasing markets with the use of long and short equity positions.
