Asia ex-Japan Hedge Fund launched by Fabien Pictet and Partners - the FPP Golden Asia Fund Fabien Pictet & Partners Limited (FPP) has announced the creation of a new Fund: The FPP Golden Asia Fund, an Asia ex-Japan Hedge Fund, with seed assets from Jade Absolute Fund Managers Limited. Joon Ho Byun, who is currently a co-manager of the FPP Three Kingdoms Korea Fund, will manage the Fund. Additionally, Marcus Dodd, a Director of Jade, has also agreed to become a consultant to Fabien Pictet & Partners.

The fund will aim to achieve absolute return through investing in Asia ex-Japan equities and fixed income. It will join FPP’s other hedge funds, namely the FPP Emerging Hedge Fund, Global Emerging Market Debt Hedge Fund, Seven Seas Emerging Europe and Middle East Fund, and the Korea and Taiwan single country funds.
