Harbert distressed fund aims at record year, already 25.7% in H1

After a launch in July 2002, the Harbinger Capital Partners Offshore Fund I, a hedge fund focusing on distressed and high yield (special situation) debt and equity, is about to have build a record year for its investors. In 2003, the fund achieved a 26.8% and in 2006 the numbers added up to 21.8%.
