Emerging market manager finds investing `outside of mainstream` pays, 27% YTD

From Benedicte Gravrand, Geneva: U.K.-based Emergent Asset Management’s two funds gave impressive returns this month. The EM Alternative fund (which returned 30.3% in 2006) is up 21.76% YTD in 2007. The EM Ballistic Fund (which returned 31.8% in 2006) returned 27.06% YTD in 2007.
