Greenwich Roundtable publishes third best practices guide dedicated to due diligence in fixed income and credit investing, Investors and due diligence: It`s not like the old days

The Greenwich Roundtable (GR) announced today the release of its latest guide to due diligence in hedge fund investing, entitled Best Practices in Hedge Fund Investing: Due Diligence for Fixed Income and Credit Strategies. The GR Education Committee’s new study aims to continue the group’s efforts to demystify alternative investment strategies. It is the third installation in a series of Best Practices reports, following the organization’s previous reports on due diligence in equity strategies and global macro and managed futures strategies.

“We are proud of the work put forth by our Education Committee in developing the Best Practices in Hedge Fund Investing: Due Diligence for Fixed Income and Credit Strategies,” said Steve McMenamin, Executive Director of the Greenwich Roundtable. “We began the Best Practices in Hedge Fund Investing series to demystify a process that has largely been misunderstood. This is our best work yet, and we believe it to be original and comprehensive.”

“I would like to thank the members of the Education Committee for their hard work and dedication to this important project,” said Aleks Weiler, the leader of the working group that created the study. “Before the Best Practices series, investing in hedge fund strategies was largely passed on as an oral history. Now those histories are written.”
