Opalesque Exclusive: Gerken Capital to launch three new hedge funds From Matthias Knab: Lou Gerken announced at the gaimAsia conference in Hong Kong last week his San Francisco-based Gerken Capital will be launching three new hedge funds: Latin America, Middle East and Russia hedge funds. Gerken Capital’s hedge funds are formed as exclusive, long-term joint venture with a domestic partner, for example BBVA for the Latin American hedge fund.

MPC to launch L/S and multi-stratety funds London-based MPC Investors will launch long/short and multi strategy funds later this year, according to CEO Peter Harrison. (IIalternatives.com)
