Watercourse Macro Fund moves from OPIM Platform to Penjing A.M.

Penjing Asset Management, a Hong Kong-based fund of hedge funds house, has agreed to incubate a year-old global macro firm called Watercourse Advisors, managed by Wei Liao.

Watercourse Macro Fund is a continuation of the BIA Pacific Macro Fund that was re-activated in November 2016 at Ballingal Investments Advisors and that Mrs. Wei Liao managed. The global macro strategy covers the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the U.S. through tactical investments in equities, commodities, bonds and currencies. The Fund will complete its transition to Penjing A.M. by December, after having spent a year on the OP Investment Management (OPIM) Platform. After that, Wei Liao will manage her Fund at Penjing A.M. and OPIM will continue to support it as an investment advisor for Penjing A.M.
