Sold-out Emerging Manager Day in Paris highlights FinTech and asset management

The 10th edition of Emerging Manager Day (EMD), organized by Paris based asset management and seeding specialist NewAlpha, has welcomed over 800 managers, investors, FinTech startups and industry experts at a one day event in the heart of Paris on January 17th.

With the mission to identify emerging trends in the asset management and financial services industries and discover tomorrow's entrepreneurs and talent, participants attended a full day of panels and presentations which extended until late at night.

The following funds were honored at the EMD Awards Ceremony:

  • Best Equity Fund: VIA AM

  • Best Balanced Fund: Yomoni

  • Best Absolute Return Fund: Karakoram

  • Fund with the Best International Development: Varenne Capital Partners

  • Fund with the Best Development in France: Quaero Capital
For a "FinTech Launch Pad", NewAlpha selected five innovative startups which were given the opportunity to present in front of a packed room:
