Welcome to the latest issue of Private Equity Strategies. In this issue, we look at a range of different fundraising and return trends as private equity comes under increased pressure from return starved investors.

In Movers and Shakers, we speak with private credit shop Alcentra about its recent fund and new hires. In Regs Watch, attorney’s look at the possible implications for private equity with Brexit and we bring our usual roundup of recent regulatory changes.

In the Data Snapshot, contributor Benedicte Gravrand provides a rundown of new data on French private equity returns as well as new data showing how private equity real estate managers are investing.

Finally, we end with two interviews - one about a new private equity real estate joint venture and a second about the launch of a new vehicle aimed at providing loans to small businesses in the US and UK.
