North Wall Capital expands investment team

Opalesque Industry Update - North Wall Capital, an alternative investment firm focused on providing flexible private capital to UK and European businesses, announced today the addition of two new Principals to the investment team. Simon Latimer has joined North Wall Capital from Fortress Investment Group, and Artem Kontyaev will join from Houlihan Lokey in August. Both Artem and Simon will focus on the origination, analysis, and execution of opportunities in the European private credit space.

Simon Latimer, who has been working closely with the Firm since May 2018, has seven years of European credit experience across industries, asset classes, and geographies. Simon joins North Wall Capital from Fortress Investment Group, where he was an Associate in the Fortress Credit team, focusing on European real estate as well as hospitality, shipping, and aviation. Prior to Fortress, Simon worked at Citibank in the industrials and leveraged finance investment banking groups, covering industries including offshore, retail, and chemicals.

Artem Kontyaev will start at North Wall Capital in early August 2018. Artem has seven years of European credit experience, working at top tier European restructuring-focused investment banks. Artem joins North Wall Capital from Houlihan Lokey in London where he was a Senior Associate involved in some of the most complex European restructuring situations. Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Artem was part of Lazard's investment banking and restructuring teams in London.
