The Dow Jones Credit Suisse Hedge Fund Index finished up 1.21% in March (+3.55% YTD)

Opalesque Industry Update: The Dow Jones Credit Suisse Hedge Fund Index (the “Broad Index”) finished up 1.21% for the month of March.

Performance for the Broad Index and its 10 sub-strategies is calculated monthly. February, March and YTD 2013 performance numbers are listed below and are available at www.hedgeindex.com.

he following funds were dropped from the Dow Jones Credit Suisse Hedge Fund Index in March: 1741 (LUX) Equity Active Indexing Market Neutral, Cheyne Global Catalyst Fund Inc., GLC Diversified Fund Limited., Global Undervalued Securities Fund LP., Standard Pacific Fund, Thames River Hillside Apex Fund, and Victory Capital LP & Ltd

There were no funds added to the Dow Jones Credit Suisse Hedge Fund Index in March.
