Chilton Investment Company appoints Jason Barger as Managing Director of Client Relations

Opalesque Industry Update - Chilton Investment Company, the $1.8B AUM global investment management firm founded by Richard L. Chilton Jr., announced the hiring of Jason Barger to Managing Director - Client Relations.

In this role, he will be responsible for developing, advising and strengthening institutional client relationships regarding various investment opportunities, as well as broader business development efforts for the firm. Jason is based in New York City and reports directly to Mr. Chilton and Jennifer Foster, Co-Chief Investment Officer.

Mr. Barger has more than 25 years of asset management experience. Most recently, he was a Partner for Kopernik Global Investors, where he co-led institutional fundraising and client relations to help grow the firm's asset base. Prior to his position at Kopernik Global Investors, Jason was the Institutional Business Development Director at Schroders Investment Management, which has over $500B in assets under management. He also served as the Founder and Head of the Offshore Division in the Americas at Schroders.

Jason graduated from Eckerd College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business Management.
