Aksia Hires Barclays Ilya Riskin for Senior Analyst Role

Wednesday, April 11, 2018
Opalesque Industry Update - Ilya Riskin has joined Aksia as a Senior Analyst on the Investment Research Team in New York. Ilya had been at Barclays for over 12 years, most recently as a Vice President in the Portfolio Management Group, where he was a fundamental credit research generalist and portfolio manager of an extensive bank debt book.

At Aksia, Ilya's investment and markets experience will serve as a complement to the event driven and credit investment due diligence effort. Patrick Adelsbach, Head of Credit Strategies, commented: "We are excited to have Ilya on the team. We expect his credit market experience will further bolster our ability to identify hidden risks in credit portfolios, particularly as public credit markets reach euphoric levels."

Ilya commented: "I am excited to join a firm with such a strong reputation amongst both clients and managers, and look forward to working with and learning from a team of seasoned investment professionals."
