The Dow Jones Credit Suisse Hedge Fund Index finished up 1.42% in July (+3.65% YTD)

Opalesque Industry Update: The Dow Jones Credit Suisse Hedge Fund Index (the “Broad Index”) finished up 1.42% for the month of July.

Performance for the Broad Index and its 10 sub-strategies is calculated monthly. July, June and YTD 2012 performance numbers are listed below and are available at www.hedgeindex.com.

  The following funds have been dropped from the Dow Jones Credit Suisse Hedge Fund Index in July: Epoch Master Fund Ltd and Steelhead Navigator Fund LP.

The following funds have been added to the Dow Jones Credit Suisse Hedge Fund Index in July: Amida Partners Convertible Master Fund, Forum Global Opportunities Fund, Kondor Fund, and Renaissance Institutional Diversified Alpha Fund.
