Credit Suisse Liquid Alternative Beta (“LAB”) Index up 1.40% in June (+4.71% YTD)

Opalesque Industry Update: The Credit Suisse LAB Index was up 1.40% in June according to Dr. Jordan Drachman, Head of Research for Alternative Beta Strategies at Credit Suisse.

  Dr. Drachman noted, “The Credit Suisse Liquid Alternative Beta Index (“CSLAB”), which aims to reflect the performance of the overall hedge fund industry, finished up 1.40% in June. The Event Driven strategy was the most significant contributor to performance, finishing up 4.75% for the month, bringing performance to 4.71% year-to-date.”
