Near Term Trend: Positive
Friday’s Close: $96.27 (+.77)
UPDATE: In our last report, we clearly stated, “Based on a daily close, $96.80 serves as pivotal key near term resistance. A settlement above that point will produce a run to the $101.00 region. However, closing above that pivot is critical”. Subsequently, the highest close since that writing- last six trading days has been $96.66. As can be viewed in the chart, our proprietary red resistance line continues to cap price action. In addition, our key support at $94.00 held on a daily close basis the entire week as well. The lowest settlement last week was $94.48. That is the reason we always put much more emphasis on the session close as opposed to intraday moves. Use $96.80 pivot this week.
