NYMEX - GOLD (August) – Daily

Near Term Trend: Negative
Friday’s Close: $1,359.30 (- $28.90)
UPDATE: Six weeks ago, we stated, “Price action should remain under $1,520.00 for the next several months”.
However, I did not believe Gold would sell- off as dramatically as it did in the last week.
Knowing that the Equity market was continuing to look solid, I should have realized a shift from Gold to Stocks would have come into play.
For the week ahead, be mindful the $1,340.00 region acts as support.
