Research firm Woodbine Associates ads equity analyst Michael Kurzrok from hedge fund Caxton Associates

Wednesday, August 03, 2011
Opalesque Industry Update - Woodbine Associates announced the addition of Michael Kurzrok, who will join the firm as a Director and work as an equity market analyst. According to a relase by the firm, he will produce research on strategic, business, regulatory, market structure, and technology issues that impact firms active in and servicing the global equity markets. He will also provide advisory strategic and business advisory services to the firm's clients.

Prior to this, Kurzrok was at Caxton Associates, where he developed the firm’s statistical arbitrage trading desk. “ In that role, he traded millions of equity shares on a daily basis and evaluated broader desk-oriented issues including work flow, infrastructure, transaction cost analysis, and the impact of regulatory changes on trading.”
