Morgan Stanley’s James Kelly joins Citi Prime Finance as pension specialist

Monday, July 25, 2011
Opalesque Industry Update – Citi Prime Finance announced on Monday that James Kelly, formerly Head of Transition Management for pension funds in the Americas, has joined the firm as Director and Pensions Specialist within the firm’s capital introductions group. Kelly will work to broaden the firm’s outreach into that client base on behalf of its hedge fund clients seeking allocations.

"As more pension funds move directly into alternative investments, most specifically hedge funds, it is critical to have a keen understanding of these allocators and their individual investment objectives and needs." Ms. Neely said. "Jim's experience and deep relationships within the pension community will play a vital role for Citi and help bridge the gap between this increasingly important investor segment and the hedge fund clients who serve them."
