Co-founder and president of Measurisk Andrew Lapkin leaving firm this week

Monday, January 17, 2011
Opalesque Industry Update - Opalesque has learned that Measurisk co-founder and current president Andrew Lapkin has informed colleagues that he feels it is time for him to leave the firm and what he describes as an “unbelievable journey”.

Founded in 1999, the firm was sold to Bear Stearns in 2004, and the past few years have seen the fund sold twice more with JP Morgan securing it in late 2008 and then selling it in July 2010 to MSCI.

Tuesday, January 18th will be Lapkin’s last day at Measurisk and although in an email correspondence he alluded to future plans, he did not reveal anything specific.
