Gottex is on the up again

By the Opalesque team: Gottex Fund’s shares are among the best performers on the Swiss stock market at the moment, with an upward trend of 61% since 1st January-09, reported Swiss news site Romandie.com. The registered securities were introduced to the Swiss market at the end of 2007 at around CHF70, and were some of the biggest losers in 2008 with a fall of around 95%. They are currently negotiated a around CHF4.25, so 2.5 times the estimated price for 20008. It is expected that the P/E ratio for 2009 will be 6.15, with a yield of about 8%.

In a recent release, Gottex announced it was planning to buy-back its own shares for a maximum of CHF7m (US$6m). Gottex......................
