Sydney`s RTM multi-asset class fund up 1.16% in November, +5.60% YTD The RTM Absolute Return Fund returned +1.16% for November, +5.60% YTD, and 32.30% since its October 2005 inception.

The RTM Absolute Return Fund is a multi-asset class fund and targets returns of cash plus 750bp with an annual volatility target of under 10% over the medium to long term. Asset classes traded include equities, fixed interest and currencies and the underlying derivatives.

The fund utilizes the investment skills of the investment managers, Richard Melki and Geoff Hansen who both have over 22 years trading experience. The manager adopts a top down macro approach overlaid with technical, fundamental and statistical analysis as well as the manager’s considerable trading experience. Exposures to markets are undertaken via the physical market and through the derivative markets with strict risk management procedures.

With 70% of funds reporting to date, the average November return of Absolute Return funds in AFM's database was minus 2.81%.
