Oil declined as rising U.S. crude stockpiles kept supplies at the highest level in more than eight decades. Copper dropped for a fifth day, the longest losing streak since January, amid growing scepticism about demand in China. Most other metals traded lower in London. However, gold headed for the biggest quarterly advance since September 1990 as demand for haven assets surged to make the metal one of this year’s best performing commodity.
