Opalesque Industry Update - St. James's Place (SJP), the UK's largest private wealth management firm, has selected eVestment, a global leader in institutional investment data and analytics, to further serve clients with SJP's distinct approach to investment management.

The FTSE100 company has evolved over the years into a sophisticated investment management organization, placing clients and trusted advice at the center of the business, and currently holds over £115bn AUM. With their thorough approach to investment manager research, SJP understands the importance of accessing eVestment's global database and insights on large and boutique best-in-class asset managers around the globe.

"Having a full understanding of the institutional investment manager landscape is the kind of insight eVestment is uniquely positioned to provide," said eVestment EMEA Managing Director J.P. Quittot. "eVestment's breadth and depth of data and our suite of data analytics tools gives clients like SJP the ability to make better decisions as they work to meet their goals and serve their own clients. We're excited to have SJP join our growing client list in Europe."

Tom Beal, Chief Investment Officer of SJP said: "Since our inception in 1991, our Investment Management Approach has aimed to identify the best-of-breed fund managers, recognising that no single investment house can have a monopoly on investment talent. As part of the continual evolution of our Investment process, we have selected eVestment to further enhance our manager selection, monitoring and portfolio construction abilities. We look forward to working with eVestment who will complement the other inputs into our investment process"
