Golden State Wealth Management welcomes wealth manager Mario Vasquez, leaving J.P. Morgan Securities

Friday, December 02, 2016
Opalesque Industry Update - Golden State Wealth Management is excited to welcome its newest Wealth Manager, Mario Vasquez of Mission Viejo, California.

“I am excited to welcome Mario to the Golden State Wealth Management team. Mario’s knowledge and experience are exceptional and his commitment to providing outstanding service to his clients is at the very core of Golden State’s mission,” said Daniel Catone, president of Golden State Wealth Management.

Mario joins the team with over 10 years of experience in financial services. After obtaining his Bachelor Degree with a Major in Finance from the University of Florida, Mario received the opportunity to move to New York City to work on Wall Street with Lehman Brothers. In 2008 Mario moved to London to rollout prime services capabilities to international hedge funds clients. After 3 months on assignment, during the financial crisis, Lehman Brothers New York was bought by Barclays Capital.

Mario moved back to New York and joined Barclays Capital, working in the prime services group. Missing the strong support of his family, Mario decided to leave New York and seek employment in New Orleans. In 2009 Mario joined JPMorgan Private Bank as a Global Investment Specialist. There he helped high net worth clients to preserve and grow their wealth.

Mario’s main objective is to provide ethical financial advice to help clients achieve their personal financial goals. He believes there is no greater success than helping clients have a secure financial future.

Mario moved to California with his wife in 2012 and currently resides in Laguna Hills. They have three beautiful, rambunctious children and one Shih-Tzu named Oreo.

Outside of business, Mario enjoys traveling inside and outside the US. He also enjoys hiking and taking his children to the beach.
