Opalesque Industry Update - Wells Fargo Securities, the capital markets and investment banking business of Wells Fargo & Company, announced today that Michael Gull and Nicholas Granata have joined the Global Fund Services division. Both individuals will be based in New York and report to Leslie Flaws, global head of Client Services. In his role, Gull, vice president of Business Development and Client Relations, will focus on clients in the alternative investment industry within the U.S. for North American Fund Administration team. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, he was director of Business Development for UBS Fund Services where he developed new relationships with alternative investment and private equity managers. Gull has held senior positions in SEI Investments, ALPS, Citigroup, Bear Sterns and DLJ/Pershing. Granata, vice president of Business Development and Client Relations, will focus on private equity and hybrid structure clients. Prior to joining the platform, he served as vice president and global product manager for Private Equity and Alternative Investment Services at BNY Mellon. He also served in increasingly senior roles at Goldman Sachs.
