Macquarie Asset Management, one of the world's largest private infrastructure investors by assets under management, has closed Macquarie Infrastructure Partners VI at $6.8 billion.

The manager also announced $1.3 billion in closed and funded co-investments in the fund's portfolio companies, according to a media release from the global asset manager.
