Global pension fund involvement in deal activity continued its declining trend in the fourth quarter of 2022, said a study.

According to S&P Global Market Intelligence data, pension fund sponsors were involved in $5.01 billion worth of disclosed transactions in the 2022 fourth quarter, an 83.5% plunge from the fourth quarter of 2021.
