The US-based mid-market private equity firm Parthenon Capital closed its growth-oriented private equity fund Parthenon Investors VI at its hard cap of $2 billion.

The closing exceeds its fundraising target of $1.5 billion, said a press note.

Investors include the $30 billion Texas Municipal Retirement System, Austin.
