Switzerland-based cryptocurrency 'smart card' wallet manufacturer Tangem announced that it would be issuing physical banknotes of the sovereign (SOV) currency for the Marshall Islands.

Sovereign, as it is now being named, will officially make history by being one of the first digital national currencies in the world, claimed a press note.
