The parent company of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), has announced that Bitcoin (BTC) futures on its platform Bakkt will be launched on on December 12.

According to a document released yesterday (October 22nd), the physically-settled daily futures contract, will be backed by actual bitcoins held in ICE's Digital Asset Wareh
