| The stability of the financial system is not threatened by hedge funds according to the Banque Nationale Suisse (BNS), Swiss news site Romandie.com reports. BNS’ president Jean-Pierre Roth said that a reinforcement of the regulations in this industry is not necessary, in a speech entitled “Highly Leveraged Institutions and Financial Stability: A Case for Regulation?” last Friday.
