Laxman Pai, Opalesque Asia: Zurich, Switzerland based INVICO Asset Management annunced that after 30 years in the lead of the firm, Rolf Schlegel hands over the management to Bruno Schneller, who becomes the delegate of the board of directors.
Bruno Schneller studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen. After graduation, he worked in the private equity and hedge fund sector, most recently with his own company.
Since February 2020, he has been applying this know-how for the clients of INVICO Asset Management.
"He will continue the tradition of independent, customer-oriented asset management in our company. He will work closely with our founder Rolf Schlegel, who of course is still there for you," said a statement from the company.
INVICO also said its 5G certificate is now up 36% since inception and 30% since January 2020. "This certificate is issued by ZKB, managed by INVICO Asset Management, and enables a diversified investment in the 5G sector" The 5G certificates are based on a basket of shares managed by INVICO Asset Management. With this certificate, the investor relies on new technology and a strong analysis team.
"The selection of the shares is based on careful analysis by the INVICO analysis team. We have analyzed the technology and potential of many companies active in the 5G sector and based on this made the selection," it said.
Despite the Corona crisis, there were great gains for INVICO investors, the statement added.
"We originally designed the certificate for our clients and invested in this certificate ourselves. Therefore, INVICO Asset Management does not charge a fee for the management of the basket underlying the certificate. For some time now, however, third-party investors can also acquire this certificate and thus also benefit from the work of INVICO Asset Management," the statement said.
