Hedge funds see outflows in Q4 - eVestment

Bailey McCann, Opalesque New York:

Hedge funds saw outflows through the fourth quarter of 2015, according to the latest Institutional Investment Asset Flows Report from eVestment. The industry had of $158.7 billion in outflows in the last quarter of 2015, up from outflows of $87.2 billion in 3Q 2015.

Of the total industry outflows, about $23 billion came from fixed-income products, $125 billion came from equity strategies and about $11.5 billion came from balanced/multi-asset products.
