Indinvest Partners builds out private debt team

European alternative investment firm Idinvest Partners is building out its private debt team on the heels of a successful private debt fund close. As Opalesque reported in June, the firm closed its third private debt fund on €400m. That fund will focus on financing of European SMEs through mezzanine or unitranche solutions.

Now, Idinvest has brought on Valérie Ducourty and Sorian Abouz to focus on the deployment of the NOVI 2 fund.

The team specialized in debt strategies at Idinvest now accounts for 11 professionals, in rapid growth since Idinvest Partners' independence in 2010.

Valérie Ducourty is joining Idinvest Partners as Investment Director of the Private Debt team. Valérie’s role will mainly consist of the deployment of the investment of the NOVI 2 debt compartment. Prior to joining Indinvest, Ducourty was previously at Fortis Banque France and then Arkea Banque Entreprises et Institutionnels, before taking part in the launch and development of the Corporate Lending activity at TIKEHAU IM as manager of the NOVO 2 fund.

Sorian Abouz is joining Idinvest Partners as Analyst of the Private Debt team. Sorian’s role will be to deploy the investment of the NOVI 2 debt compartment. Sorian held analyst positions in commercial banking at Arkea Banques E&I before joining Etamine, a family holding company active in commercial real estate, distribution and innovative small businesses.
