Carl Vine gets Dymon Asia’s support to kickstart a $500m global hedge fund

Former SAC Capital Advisors manager Carl Vine got the backing of one of Asia’s largest hedge funds Dymon Asia Capital (Singapore) Pte to launch a $500m global equity long-short hedge fund with a focus toward the Asia-Pacific region.

San Francisco Gate said the Oxford, UK-based Vine will head the new fund’s investment team and will be tasked to become the chief investment officer of Port Meadow, a division of Dymon. The fund will seek to raise $500m. Dymon President Jay Luo said Dymon will prov......................
