02.09.2011 - Super fund takes hit after cracker year
The New Zealand Superannuation Fund has revealed its strongest annual return, but signalled it has lost value in the market turmoil since. In the financial year ended June 30, the fund climbed in value by 25.05 per cent, or $3.41 billion, to just over $19b. The figures made public yesterday were unaudited, with the annual report due to be tabled in Parliament in October.
