02.06.2011 - Khazanah backs CIMB-RHBCap merger

Khazanah Nasional Bhd, Malaysia’s sovereign investment company, is supportive of CIMB Group Holdings Bhd merging with RHB Capital Bhd. if it creates value, Managing Director Azman Mokhtar told reporters in Kuala Lumpur. Khazanah is CIMB’s biggest shareholder with a 28.6 per cent stake, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
