26.05.2011 - Alaska: Sovereign wealth fund earmarks $750 mln for credit hedge funds
The Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation, a sovereign wealth fund set up to manage the state’s oil riches, has announced that it will make a $750 million allocation to credit funds. The new money will be allocated in 2012 across various funds that target corporate credit opportunities. The board of the $42 billion fund also approved measures which give the entity greater flexibility in the way that it invests in credit hedge funds.
