20.03.2009 - Oil strikes back above $US50 in broad commodities rally
From Theaustralian.news.com.au: Oil closed above $US50 a barrel in New York for the first time this year after investors reacted to the Federal Reserve's latest economic intervention by pouring into commodities. Light, sweet crude for April delivery settled at $US51.61 a barrel, up $US3.47 or 7.2 per cent on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
