From Guardian: Europe's scrap metals business will shrink this year as the global economy slows and some consumers may buy recycling firms in an effort to secure supplies, the head of European federation of scrap dealers says. Robert Voss, President of Eurometrec, told Reuters in an interview the scrap business would inevitably suffer because most non-ferrous scrap metals go into the construction, automotive, power and transport industry.
