London's booming property market helped house prices rise for the third month in a row in April, as conditions in the capital's housing market reached levels not seen since 2007. Prices increased by 0.3% month-on-month across the country, following a similar uplift in March, with a 0.7% rise in London driving the rate of growth, a study by Hometrack found.
