08.03.2013 - Confidence in housing market rose in February
Consumer confidence in the U.S. housing sector continued to rise in February, but more people expect mortgage rates to increase over the next year, according to Fannie Mae's monthly national-housing survey. The mortgage-finance company said its poll of 1,008 Americans showed home prices are expected to rise an average of 2.9% over the next year, slightly higher than the 2.4% increase expected in January.
