| Though 80% of the public accept the urgent need for new homes, more than half see no problem in their area. There are some unpleasant illnesses doing the rounds this winter, the latest of which seems to be a virulent form of nimbyism. A recent Ispos MORI poll confirmed that 80% of us believe there is a housing crisis.
